Traditionally the 'Laudemio' is the label for the finest extra virgin olive oil from the harvest. It was reserved for table of the local nobility, to honour them ('laudemio means 'praise in Italian).
Produced from Frescobaldi’s estates in central Tuscany, this sumptuous EVOO is primarily comprised of the Frantoio cultivar. Typically premium extra virgin olive oils are not judged by their colour (due to some scurrilous low end suppliers knowing how to add colour deceptively), but the emerald green of this oil is a thing of beauty.
Winner of GOLD at the 2024 New York World Olive Oil Competition and the coveted '3 Leaf' award at the latest Gambero Rosso Italian Oil Competition.

I purchased the bottle of premium extra virgin olive oil as a gift for a friends 50th birthday. Once it was in my hands I was reluctant to let it go. Rhea says the bottle is gorgeous and reports that the olive oil is absolutely delicious on everything!
