Profile: An absolutely delicious extra virgin olive oil with a mild, smooth personality and fruity after-taste.
Leafyridge Olives is run by Ruth and Craig Leaf-Wright, who nurture 4,000 trees at their grove by the Ruamahanga river, near Carterton. The groves produces varieties from Italy (Frantoio, Leccino, Pendolino), France (Picholene), Greece (Koroneiki) and Spain (Manzanillo, Picual). Their oils are made in their own olive mill using 2-phase extraction (to maintain maximum flavour and minimise water use). , and the highest quality extra virgin olive oil.
